Dr. Rukmini Rao, Member Dr. Rukmini did her PhD in Psychology from Delhi University. She is a human rights activist, working to raise public awareness of domestic violence and advocate for women’s rights. Dr. Rao works with women’s groups and civil society organisations to promote gender equality and empower women and children with the necessary skills to achieve sound livelihoods.

Ram Mohan Dayasagar, Member Ram began his professional career as an entrepreneur before joining the voluntary sector in 1969. After visiting tribal villages in Santhal, Parganas, and Janta Colony in Mumbai, Ram realised his desire to combat poverty, marginalization, and exploitation. Ram has worked with national and international civil society organisations and people’s movements, such as Service Civil International and ActionAid, in order to achieve social justice. He particularly enjoys working with Indian youth to inform them about societal exploitation, such as class and caste, in order to raise awareness of human rights violations in India and abroad.

Manjula Pradeep, Member
Manjula is the Executive Director of Navsarjan Trust www.navsarjan.org one of the largest Dalit organizations based in Gujarat. She is part of the Dalit movement for more than 19 years. She represents issues facing Dalits and Dalit women locally, National and internationally including the United Nations, European Union. She is a member in the executive committee of International Dalit Solidarity Network www.idsn.org. Manjula is also a member in the steering group of Women in Governance-India (WinG-India). |

M. Ganga Bhushan, Member Ganga Bhushan has been teaching since 2004 in the Department of Social Work, Assam University, Silchar, Assam. His earlier experiences include ethnographic research on tribals in Maharashtra. After completing the Advocacy Internship Programme, he joined NCAS and became involved in its grassroots advocacy initiatives. His area of interest includes Human Rights and Women’s issues in the unorganised/informal sector.
