Micro-Planning as a tool for decentralised planning: An experience of Nandurbar District in Maharashtra
Decentralised planning needs certain tools that can aid the process of making plans at the grassroots. Use of social mobilisation tools as well as volunteers who can spread the message of change are a prerequisite. A political movement that trusts decision-making by the Panchayats is also necessary. The idea of micro planning was rooted to empower the society as well as the Panchayats in this process.
